Garlic is great on everything. Will have to try this.
Thank you!
Not too good with strawberries and cream. I once used garlic granules by mistake for sesame seeds in my home-made meusli. We had to throw it away!
True, by “everything” I meant savory cooking! Thanks for stoping by
Ha! Good to know. Garlic+ Strawberries and Cream= Trouble
Indeed!
Garlic is the ketchup of intellectuals. EVERY cook should have this recipe in their apron pocket. It is sublime. Virginia

Sounds delicious! Can’t wait t try it.
Thank you! Please let me know when you do. I would love to get some feedback!
I wonder how much the texture and taste of the roux would change using rice flour? I have a wheat allergy but love garlic and white pasta sauces. We haven’t had a white sauce in years! I know my husband would appreciate being able to add them back into our meals occasionally.
Hi thanks! I’m sorry to hear that you are allergic to gluten. Check out this recipe: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/01/gluten-free-tuesday-roux-rice-flour.html
You can also use cornstarch and milk as well! Thanks for stoping by
Thanks for the link. I am making this now to go with our Parmesan baked chicken and mushrooms! I think I am going to opt for comfort and make mashed potatoes instead of the healthier brown rice option. It will be a nice treat for the hubby when he gets home from work.
Aw, That is very sweet you ! Making dinner for my husband feel great! I hope your hubs enjoys your dinner! Cheers
